  • What does the PRP treatment do?

    PRP is used to slow hair loss or reverse miniaturization to produce strong, visible hair again.

  • What is the treatment schedule like?

    Once you have had your first treatment, you should plan to have PRP every 6-12 months.

  • How soon will I see results?

    We find that most of our patients will see results in 3-6 months. It will vary slightly for each patient.

  • Can both men and women use this treatment?

    Absolutely.

  • How long should I plan on a treatment session lasting?

    Each session will take about 45 minutes.

  • What are the benefits of getting PRP treatment?

    PRP is another way that hair growth can be stimulated, which is beneficial for patients who are not good candidates for other types of hair loss treatments. It can help patients who are not a good candidate for a hair transplant and may be useful to treat crown thinning if a hair transplant is not a viable treatment option.

  • Will PRP work on an area that is balding?

    PRP works best on areas where there is existing hair that is thinning.

  • Will I experience any soreness after treatment?

    Many of our patients do not have any soreness, but some may have a little swelling or soreness that will go away quickly.

  • How soon after treatment can I go back to my normal routine?

    You can immediately resume your normal activities after treatment. However, we ask you to refrain from heavy exercise the day of your treatment.
