Scalp Micro Pigmentation for Women (Not Just For Men)
Today’s women are losing their hair faster than previous generations. Women can also face the same problems that men face, including alopecia, thinning and baldness.
Several sources have offered possible causes of this, ranging from:
- Hair Products
- Raised Testosterone
The effects of hair thinning for a woman can be devastating to her confidence and self-esteem. A woman will typically regard her hair as her, “crowning glory,” and fears that hair loss will cause a loss of her attractiveness. It can be very depressing when you lose something that has become a big part of your identity and a woman’s hair can be the feature that sets them apart from other women. No matter what is causing the issue, it is clear that a safe, accessible and effective solution is needed.
Scalp Micro Pigmentation is essentially a medical hairline tattoo. It uses natural pigments that are applied during treatment to the second epidermal layer of the scalp to copy and blend in with your real hair follicles and strands of hair. By using several different shades, we will subtly fill in and recreate follicles and strands over the course of three treatments.
What are the benefits?
- Scalp micro pigmentation camouflages the thinner parts of the scalp to disguise hair loss
- Micro pigmentation does not impede the body’s own ability to regenerate hair follicles
- Micro pigmentation is an effective camouflage for scarring from hair transplant surgery, burns, birthmarks, and alopecia
- It is versatile enough for all ages, skin types, and hair colors
